How to Make Putu Ayu


Material:

·       Flour                             250 gram
·       Sugar                            225 gram
·       Eggs                              4
·       coconut milk               130 ml
·       Ovalet                           ½ teaspoon
·       Green dye                    1 teaspoon
·       Grated coconut           200 gram
·       Salt                               1 teaspoon

Step:

  1. Beat egg and sugar until thickened, add ovalet, and beat until fluffy and white.
  2. Add coconut milk little by little alternately with flour, stir until blended. Add green dye, stir.
  3. Prepared mold. Basting with cooking oil and give the coconut essence, pour the batter until full.
  4. Heat cormorant, enter mold, and steam for 35 minutes.
  5. Lift mold from cormorant.
  6. Remove the putu ayu from mold.
